Alert The OUA Exams website will be unavailable from 8am - 8pm (AEST) on Saturday 9th June 2018 due to a system update. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

When you study through Open Universities Australia, your end of term written exams will be centrally managed by the OUA Exams Unit. Our Examination Services provide you with access to a worldwide network of exam venues, allowing you to choose the venue most convenient to you.

Accessing your exam timetable

You will be able to login to choose your exam venue and view your exam timetables from this page. The week in which your timetable is available will depend on whether you are enrolled in units that run in Study Periods or Sessions. You will only be able to access your venue and timetable details during the availability weeks listed on the Key dates page.

To access your venue selection and timetable, enter your OUA ID and date of birth in the login box. You will always need to login to this page to view your exam details, even if you have already logged into the My Area section of the OUA website.

Forgotten your OUA ID? Your OUA ID is printed on your Confirmation of Enrolment letter and your student card. If you cannot locate your OUA ID, contact an OUA Student Advisor on 1300 36 36 52.

To view current venue locations refer to FAQ: Where will the OUA examination venues be located?

Special exam arrangements

If you are unable to sit your exam in an OUA Examination Services venue, you may be eligible to apply for Special Local Invigilation (SLI), which allows you to arrange your exam in your local area.
You will be able to apply for Special Local Invigilation if you:

  • Live more than 150km from your nearest listed exam venue, or
  • Have a disability or impairment that precludes travel to a venue. You will also need to apply for Alternative Assessment Arrangements directly through your provider university if you intend to apply for SLI due to a disability.
